When the surplus was a fact, Felix Richter, product manager at Orkla FoodSolutions picked up the phone and contacted Rscued, the company that has been saving fruit and vegetables from being wasted since 2015. And now Rscued is releasing a beetroot hummus made from these rescued beetroots from Orkla. In total, we thus avoid 36 tonnes of perfectly good product being thrown away unnecessarily.
